Confession: my nasty habit.

I'll admit it: I have a nasty habit... Here it is: I can't stand suffering. And I see it as my mission to wake people up, shake their convictions and show them the way to a better, fulfilling life.

That's not so bad, you might think. You'd be right if it weren't for the people that resist what I'm proclaiming and even lashed out at me when I wanted to help them. You see, not everybody is open to new ideas. People can get very defensive when someone tries to embark on their sense of security and disturb their world view. That's perfectly all right. Except that it bums me out...

Through the years I've learnt not to impose myself and my help as much as before. I've come to terms with the fact that not everybody wants that kind of help. I've accepted that people have the right to make their own decisions. Even hard ones. But you can't blame me for trying to offer my help anyway ;)

Still I feel sorry when people settle for a life that's "just fine" or even outright miserable. I have to really bite my tongue and remain calm, preventing myself from going on an inspired rampage. Especially with youngsters or people that tell me everything is "ok" and they're "going with the flow of everyday life". On the surface that sounds great right? But let me tell you: that's not real joy. You can't fool me. What the hell are you doing with your life? You're not a monk! Where's your spirit, curiosity, a tiny little bit of ambition and enthusiasm? Have you like totally given up on life already? If you've done everything you wanted, got everything from life you desired and you've crossed ALL THE THINGS from your bucket list, you can be sure of a mediocre life and that everything you do is not something you really want or desire. Otherwise it would be on your list!!

So when I meet people that are ok with being ok, that surrendered to what they call "laziness", it feels like a slap in my face. I take it personally. Because, quite frankly, it is. Not because I think I failed to motivate them or want to impose my life's views on them. It's because it actually HURTS ME. I genuinely CARE.

Your well-being, HELL, the WELLNESS of the WORLD, is my concern. And don't get me wrong: it's GREAT if you're satisfied with what you have and grateful for the blessings in your life. But I call BS on people that tell me they have everything they want and everything is just peachy, like all the time. That's simply not possible. Life doesn't work that way.

Besides, you can count your blessings AND want more. It's human nature! As soon as people feel safe and secure they get the innate urge to grow. Your natural, instinctive urge awakens that wants you to keep searching: have more, learn more, expand and develop. I know, because I talk to people all the time about this kind of stuff. I know because I've read about and studied this phenomenon.

It's a HUGE responsibility to admit to yourself that you're not EXACTLY where you want to be in life. It's a tremendous confrontation and it's a call to action... It asks for stepping out of your comfort zone, face insecurities, take risks, trust, let go... So I know you're not fine, you're just scared that's all. I get it. Just so you know: you can do something about that!

So, if you feel genuinely happy and things are really working out for you, I want to congratulate you. That's awesome, woohoo! BUT, if you don't feel actual joy, if there are areas in your life you're dissatisfied with: I'm inviting you to make the necessary changes! Find a new job, get a new partner, move, pursue your dreams. If not now, when??? Also, if you don't, if you stay in a situation that clearly doesn't suit you, your life and body will get frustrated with you and start sending you signals that what you're doing, what you're settling for, is wrong for you. Maybe you're already experiencing these symptoms? If you'd rather wait for your body and life to start screaming at you before you take action, that's entirely up to you. I'm here to tell you, there's another way. I'm here to show you the path to a better, fulfilling life. To guide you, facilitate and support you on your journey.

I'm asking you to take it from me: a life that's more than "ok" is possible, even for you!

To your Wellness, Expansion and Freedom,

Love,

Kinga.
